2-in-1 Laser Tape Measures

Our pick Lexivon LX-201

Why: Its 16-foot tape reaches farther than the A10 Pro’s 9.8-foot blade, making it our choice for furniture and fitting measurements.¹² The rated 130-foot laser range is useful for longer spans without extending the blade.¹ The backlit LCD helps you check readings in a dim area.³

Handheld Laser Distance Meters

Our pick Bosch GLM165-27CGL

Why: Send readings to a compatible app through Bluetooth instead of copying each measurement by hand.⁴ Use replaceable AA batteries during a job, or choose Bosch’s optional rechargeable pack if you prefer to recharge.⁴ The color LCD lets you check measurements on the tool, which is useful when you do not want to rely on an app for every reading.⁵
